Kolaches

These make for a great breakfast that the whole family really enjoyed.  They are low carb, grain free and all natural.


First make one recipe of the dough from the Bagel Dogs recipe.

1 lb ground natural breakfast sausage, browned
Shredded cheese of your choice

Preheat the oven to 350 convect.

Cut the dough into 10 equal parts. Place 1 piece between 2 sheets of plastic wrap, roll flat to about 1/4" thickness.  Remove top sheet, place about 2TBL meat and a sprinkle of cheese in the middle.  Using the bottom sheet of plastic wrap, roll closed and pinch the ends shut.

Repeat for remain kolaches.

Bake for 20 or so minutes, turning halfway through.  You want them to be very golden brown.  Let rest for a few minutes after baking to help the dough set in the middle.
